We have an exciting opportunity for a personable and customer-focused On-site IT Triage Technician to join our London office on a permanent basis. You will be joining a supportive and dynamic team, where you can develop your technology skillset. You can be a part of Burges Salmon's Technology Service Desk as the first point of contact for IT support across the firm. You will provide first‑line support for applications and hardware, logging, diagnosing and resolving incidents while delivering excellent customer service.
This is a great opportunity for someone who is highly organised, proactive and customer‑focused, with strong troubleshooting skills and a desire to learn.
What You’ll Do- Provide first‑line support for IT applications and hardware.
- Diagnose, resolve or escalate incidents and service requests.
- Install, configure and maintain hardware and software, including new device builds.
- Complete user administration tasks and mobile device management via Microsoft Intune.
- Support desk moves, set‑ups and organisational changes.
- Communicate clearly with users by phone, MS Teams, email, in person, and remotely.
- Maintain accurate logging and follow call management and escalation procedures.
- Experience providing first‑line IT support.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft 365, Windows, Active Directory, MS Exchange and SCCM.
- Strong troubleshooting, organisation and customer service skills.
- A proactive, team‑focused approach and high attention to detail.
- A genuine desire to learn and deliver excellent service.
