Are you looking for an exciting paralegal opportunity working directly on the implementation of Harvey, the AI platform transforming how lawyers work? We have a unique opportunity to join our Innovation team as a key part of our Digital Enablement Programme (which has a focus on AI, Data and Process Optimisation), on a 12 month fixed term contract. You’ll be supporting one of our critical AI projects, working alongside Innovation, Technology and other specialists to adopt and embed a cutting‑edge solution within our legal teams – contributing to work that creates real, lasting impact for our clients and communities.

The Opportunity

We are seeking an innovative paralegal who will play a critical role in project delivery and the smooth operation of day‑to‑day activities, from helping our lawyers with technical queries to monitoring impact and ‘red team’ testing. This role offers an excellent opportunity for a curious, proactive and detail‑oriented individual to grow their skills and deepen their expertise in a top‑tier law firm — working at the intersection of law and AI at a genuinely exciting moment for the profession. Your primary responsibility will be supporting this project, however your responsibilities may flex as it evolves and expands.

Contract Duration: 12 month fixed-term contract with the possibility of extension

Responsibilities

  • Providing collaborative support to the project team which could include:
  • Developing subject matter expertise to support our lawyers in adopting AI technologies, acting as the principal contact for support requests
  • Assisting in the implementation of the Harvey platform to enhance legal service delivery and tackle the complexity of embedding new technology in practice
  • Assisting with prompt generation, creation of playbooks and use case identification
  • Supporting the organisation and delivery of workshops and presentations to legal teams and others
  • Conducting testing of use cases including developing prompts, building templates and assessing performance
  • Monitoring KPI and impact data to prepare concise and clear reports for senior stakeholders
  • Working alongside our legal teams to ensure the delivery of project objectives

What You’ll Need

  • Legal experience which could include relevant work experience, a law degree or other legal qualification
  • Curiosity and a problem‑solving mindset
  • Strong attention to detail and analytical skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication abilities
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office suite
  • Ability to work efficiently under pressure and meet deadlines, taking ownership of your work
  • Good organisational skills and ability to prioritise tasks
  • An interest in innovation and technology.
  • Beneficial, but not essential, knowledge of and/or experience of using generative AI applications
