The Team
Our 100+ strong team of dispute resolution lawyers work on a diverse range of complex challenges facing their clients. We focus on outcomes, not just process. You’ll gain hands‑on experience across a wide mix of work, clients, sectors and specialisms — building a broader skillset in a dynamic, high-quality real estate disputes practice.
The Role
This is a rare opportunity to take on a more technical role than a typical paralegal position. Within this role you’ll split your time between the PSL team (70%) and the Costs Team (30%) in Dispute Resolution, supporting the Professional Support Lawyer, Costs Lawyer and Training Partner, with regular exposure to senior fee earners. As a knowledge paralegal, you’ll summarise and interpret new case law and help communicate legal developments to fee earners and clients in addition to monitoring sources such as Westlaw and BAILII, review judgments, draft case summaries, and proofread, format and publish client guides and Passle posts. You’ll also support the Costs Lawyer on public inquiry invoices and section 40 costs protocol compliance, liaising with external firms, maintaining the costs tracker and managing invoices from receipt to payment.
What Others Say
The team is friendly, very approachable and offers concise, easy-to-understand legal advice in a practical manner, making it easy to understand and assess the risk/reward of pursuing the particular point in question. – The Legal 500 (2025)
