We're looking for a Marketing Executive to join our Content team, with a focus on managing our legal directories programme (internally known as the Directories Executive role). This role offers the opportunity to take ownership of an important firm‑wide project while building deep expertise in legal marketing and content. This is a hands‑on, delivery‑focused role. You'll coordinate and manage the firm's legal directory submissions (including Chambers & Partners and The Legal 500) across the annual cycle, ensuring submissions are accurate, compelling and delivered on time. Beyond directories, you'll play an active role in ensuring that content is used effectively across wider marketing and business development activity, contributing to a consistent, high‑quality approach throughout the year. Collaboration sits at the heart of how we work. You'll be trusted to bring ideas, question how things are done, and help us continuously improve how we operate.
What You'll Be Doing
- Managing and coordinating legal directory submissions, ensuring firm‑wide deadlines are met
- Working with legal, BD and marketing colleagues to gather, shape and refine content
- Ensuring guidance, templates and processes are clear, accurate and up to date
- Coordinating firm‑wide referee processes and supporting client content capture
- Analysing published directory rankings and supporting internal and external communications
- Supporting the ongoing maintenance of the firm's Marketing Content Repository
- Contributing content to tenders, credentials, proposals and expertise webpages
- Identifying opportunities to improve processes and ways of working, including the thoughtful use of AI tools
What We're Looking For
- Experience working in a marketing or professional services environment
- Strong attention to detail and pride in producing high‑quality work
- Excellent organisation skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines
- A proactive, collaborative approach and confidence working with a wide range of stakeholders
- Curiosity and openness to learning, including an interest in new technology and AI tools
- Confidence using Microsoft 365 tools (Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Copilot)
