We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven standalone Senior Sales & Events Manager to lead our sales and events strategy across the London estate. This role combines commercial acumen with a passion for hospitality, focusing on creating exceptional dining experiences while driving revenue growth. You will be the key driver in building relationships, optimising sales processes, and delivering memorable events that reinforce the Burger & Lobster brand.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and execute a strong Sales and Events strategy to drive commercial growth across the Burger & Lobster estate.
- Proactively identify, engage, and convert potential guests, corporate clients, tour groups, hotels, and other partners into successful dining experiences.
- Collaborate closely with the operations team to plan and execute events, ensuring exceptional guest satisfaction at every touchpoint.
- Continuously optimise sales and events processes, maintaining industry-leading standards and best practices.
- Work in partnership with marketing, finance, and operations to ensure the sales & events function contributes directly to overall business growth.
- Represent Burger & Lobster at industry networking events, exhibitions, and conferences, delivering measurable business results.
- Manage third-party booking platforms (e.g., SquareMeal, DesignMyNight), responding to enquiries promptly to maximise conversion.
- Partner with finance to develop and maintain sales and events reporting, providing actionable insights to drive performance.
- Represent the sales and events function at a senior level within key cross functional meetings.
- Understand and monitor the commercial and financial performance of the business, ensuring sales and events contribute positively to overall results.
- Possess excellent knowledge of systems such as Tripleseat, SevenRooms and Opentable, regularly liaising with their account managers to discuss business requirements and keep abreast of latest developments.
- Identify new opportunities, partnerships, or listings that will generate revenue and strengthen the brand presence, and in turn deliver a return.
- Lead and deliver the sales and events strategy during peak periods, including summer, Christmas, and major calendar events.
- Monitor competitor offerings and ensure Burger & Lobster consistently delivers superior value and guest experience in all event packages.
