Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensure that the bar area is organized with the necessary equipment and ingredients for full service
  • Ensure that the bar is always restocked for the full service
  • Ensure that the team have the proper product knowledge
  • Order stock according to requirements
  • Ensure that all drinks are made with the required standards
  • Ensure that all guests are well looked after when dining at the bar
  • Maintain a clean and tidy bar
  • Deal with any issues bar related
  • Ensure the order of any/all ingredients required for tomorrow's service
  • Ensure low wastage levels of products
  • Prepare daily and weekly reports
  • Ensure any products disposed of if going out of date
  • Ensure that the bar area is cleaned, fully re-stocked with all drinks and presentable for the shift
  • Organize the stations with the proper supplies and ingredients for full service
  • Preparation of fresh juices and garnishes for drinks
  • Collect and clean dirty glasses from the bar and the floor
  • Stocking ice for the bartenders during service
  • Remove empty bottles and trash from the station
  • Refill fruit, napkins and straws and all the necessary supplies
  • Polishing glasses from dishwasher
  • Ensure that your station and the bartenders station are cleaned at the end of every shift
  • Help out any bar staff if required
  • Ensure that any supplies and any equipment that has been used during the service is cleaned and prepared for the next shift
  • Mop the floor
  • Ensure all glasses have been removed from the floor, cleaned and polished and packed away

You’ll need to be:

  • Positive work attitude, with the ability to multitask
  • Can play well with others, after all, we’re all one big team
  • Able to cope well in a fast-paced bar environment – you’ll have done this before

Please note that due to the nature of the industry, you will be required to work on a shift basis on a rota basis. All applicants will be required to prove that they are legally allowed to work in the United Kingdom.
