The role
Burger King UK is growing! With new restaurants opening across the country and big ambitions for the years ahead, we’re looking for a Talent Acquisition Partner that can deliver great results and handle the pace.
As Talent Acquisition Partner, you will play a key role in delivering our hiring strategy — ensuring every restaurant has the people it needs to deliver an exceptional guest experience. You will partner closely with Regional Operations Managers and Restaurant Managers to deliver end‑to‑end recruitment for new restaurant openings, as well as supporting our existing restaurants hiring at Assistant Manager level where needed. This is a field‑based role with regular travel across the UK and occasional visits to our London office, Whopper Support. This is a hands‑on role with real ownership, visibility and impact.
What you’ll be doing
- You will take responsibility for delivering a best‑in‑class recruitment experience for candidates and hiring managers across the UK.
- Key responsibilities include:
- Managing the full recruitment process from job posting and shortlisting to screening, arranging interviews and offers
- Partnering with internal stakeholders to support volume recruitment for new sites
- Supporting hiring managers with Assistant Manager recruitment in BAU restaurants, providing guidance, tools and coaching
- Working with hiring managers in facilitating in‑person assessment centres for Crew Member hiring for new openings
- Managing candidate pipelines and vacancy activity within our ATS, ensuring accuracy and compliance
- Preparing job offers and employment contracts along with right to work checks and due diligence
- Tracking and reporting on key recruitment metrics, including turnover and source of hire
- Designing and delivering recruitment training for hiring managers in partnership with the People Team
- Staying up to date with industry trends and innovations in sourcing and talent attraction
- Proactively sourcing candidates through job boards, social media and local recruitment campaigns
This is a high‑volume, fast‑paced role where you’ll need to stay agile, organised and ready to pivot as priorities shift. You’ll need to be an experienced recruiter who thrives in a fast‑moving, operational environment. You know how to build strong relationships, influence stakeholders and deliver results at pace.
You will bring:
- Experience in high‑volume, end‑to‑end recruitment role either in‑house or agency, ideally in a retail or hospitality environment
- Confidence managing recruitment for roles with seasonality and constant change
- Strong sourcing skills across job boards, social media and local attraction channels
- Familiarity with ATS platforms and CV databases
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to build trust and rapport quickly
- A proactive, resourceful approach to problem‑solving
- High energy, motivation and the ability to work independently while staying connected to the wider team
- Strong organisation, time‑management and attention to detail
- A collaborative mindset and a passion for finding great people
Most importantly, you bring a positive attitude, a sense of ownership and the drive to make things happen.
The setup
This isn’t a full‑time work from home gig. This is a field‑based role with travel across the UK to support restaurant openings and BAU recruitment needs. You will also spend time at our London office aka Whopper Support. You’ll be joining a passionate, supportive People team with the space to make an impact and the opportunity to help shape how we attract and hire talent across the business.
If you’re ready to take this on, we’d love to hear from you.
