The role
Burger King is growing fast. Now we’re focusing on the Republic of Ireland. This is a new role created to support and grow the brand in ROI. We already have more than 50 restaurants in the market, working with two franchise partners, and we have plans to expand further. As Senior Brand Manager, you will lead the marketing plan for Ireland. You will shape the strategy and make sure it lands across every channel. From campaigns and product launches to in‑restaurant comms, you will be responsible for how the brand shows up day to day. You will report to the Chief Marketing Officer and work closely with teams across the business. That includes operations, supply chain, digital and finance, as well as external agencies and franchise partners. This role comes with real ownership and visibility.
What You’ll Be Doing
You will take responsibility for the full marketing agenda in Ireland and make sure it delivers for the business.
Key Responsibilities Include:
- Managing the end‑to‑end marketing plan for the Republic of Ireland
- Leading campaigns across ATL, digital, PR, social and in‑restaurant channels
- Delivering product launches and key calendar activity
- Working closely with franchise partners to drive sales and maintain brand standards
- Managing agency relationships across creative, media, PR, social and CRM
- Using customer insight to shape campaigns and improve performance
- Overseeing in‑restaurant comms, menu messaging and brand consistency
- Working cross‑functionally to bring plans to life across all touchpoints
- Monitoring performance and using data to improve results
- Keeping up to date with market trends and competitor activity
What you’ll bring
- Experience at Brand Manager or Senior Brand Manager level
- A track record of delivering campaigns that drive commercial results
- Strong understanding of the full marketing mix
- Confidence working with stakeholders across the business, from day‑to‑day contacts through to senior leaders
- The ability to build strong relationships with franchise partners and external agencies, and get the best out of them
- Experience working cross‑functionally with teams such as operations, supply chain, digital and finance
- A clear sense of ownership and accountability for your market, with the ability to make decisions and see them through
- The ability to get into the detail when needed, but also step back and communicate clearly at a senior level
- A hands‑on approach and the confidence to lead and deliver
- Experience in the Republic of Ireland would be useful but is not essential. We are looking for someone who can apply their experience in a new market and make an impact.
The setup
This role is based in London, with three days a week in our Soho office aka Whopper Support. There will be regular travel to Ireland, around once a month as part of your role. This role offers the chance to take ownership of a key market and help shape what comes next. You will have the support of a strong team and the space to make decisions that matter.
