About the opportunity:
An exciting opportunity to work within a fast-paced and growing organisation to maintain and develop the high standard of support the business provides for end users.Â
As Corporate Support Specialist, you will be responsible for day-to-day IT support for the BKUK HQ staff base (Whopper Support). You will work with our end user support provider to ensure timely resolution of all support requests and build upon support process, looking for improvements where they can be found. You will be responsible for new user setup and integration alongside making sure IT services within Whopper Support are functioning and fit for purpose.Â
You will liaise with internal teams and with sites to arrange testing and implementation of new processes and initiatives to improve productivity and efficiency.Â
You will also maintain IT best practices throughout and be tasked with keeping BKUK design documentation up to date and enforced across the estate.
What you'll do:
- Maintain and support the physical and functional IT services within Whopper SupportÂ
- Manage new starter process from IT setup to IT inductionÂ
- Manage leaver processÂ
- Review and develop IT processes to gain efficiency and maximise productivity through automation where possibleÂ
- Maintain and develop cyber security best practices including user awareness and educationÂ
- Assist in third party supplier escalationsÂ
- Assist in site openings and site remodels programmeÂ
What you'll have:
- Microsoft or related field qualifications / certifications or relevant demonstrable experienceÂ
- End user support experienceÂ
- IT equipment installation experienceÂ
- Basic level of networking componentsÂ
- A strong technical background in IT troubleshootingÂ
- Good stakeholder management skillsÂ
- An ability to prioritise a demanding workloadÂ
- Excellent written, verbal and presentation communication skillsÂ
- Excellent interpersonal and relationship management skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with internal and external teamsÂ
- The ability to make crucial decisions and cope with the pressure of demanding targetsÂ
- The ability to solve problems and make decisions, as well as to think strategically and laterallyÂ
- Time management skills and the ability to deliver to deadlines
