Burford Primary and Nursery School is seeking to appoint an excellent teaching practitioner who is child‑centred, passionate about making a real difference and has high expectations both of themselves and the children they work with. Sitting on the border of the City of Nottingham in Arnold, Burford Primary & Nursery School is a single form entry school with around 50% of catchment eligible for Pupil Premium. We are a warm, dedicated and driven team who keep children at the heart of all we do. We are looking for an ambitious teacher who is committed to creating a stimulating learning experience and environment for our wonderful pupils. Due to upcoming staff maternity leave, we are looking to recruit an enthusiastic, creative and hard‑working teacher, committed to excellent classroom practice and high standards for all who can positively enthuse and motivate our children.

Responsibilities

  • Be a consistently good / outstanding primary teacher

  • Care passionately about children and their development whilst still driving forward pupil progress and achievement
