An opportunity has arisen in our Warehouse team for an individual who enjoys working in a fast paced, varied warehouse environment. Reporting to the Goods In Manager, you will assist in the day-to-day running of our Goods In Department, ensuring the highest standards of safety, organisation and accuracy are maintained at all times. Please note that this is a full-time role and that you will be required to work alternate weekends with a fixed day off in the week.
Key Responsibilities
- Ensure the safe receipt, storage and dispatch of a variety of goods
- Assist with inputting stock orders into the system
- Maintaining the highest standards of safety and accuracy
- Label stock accurately using IT systems
- Handling products with care to maintain their quality and presentation
Skills required
- Excellent attention to detail
- General IT literacy and computer skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- This is a physically demanding role, involving manual handling and being on your feet for extended periods
- Experience of health and safety practices
- A forklift licence would be advantageous but is not essential, as we are willing to financially support training for the right candidate.
- Previous warehouse or goods in experience is favourable but not essential
