We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced horticultural manager to join our unique, independent family business in the Cotswolds.

The role encompasses the day-to-day running of our extensive Plants and Gardens department, ensuring the highest standards of presentation, visual merchandising and customer service are always maintained.

Skills & Experience

  • 5-10 years relevant experience in a high‑turnover, high‑quality retail environment
  • In‑depth knowledge of plants and gardening
  • Excellent communicator, comfortable managing at scale
  • Sharp eye for detail and visual merchandising
  • Ability to lead and motivate a large, talented team
  • Experience managing substantial budgets and associated controls
  • Adapt planner and organiser, strong planning and organising skills
  • Team player, working alongside our Horticultural Buyer and peer group of Department Managers
  • Must be able to work alternate weekends, with a fixed weekday off each week
