Burford C of E Primary School are looking to appoint two committed, talented, specialised SEN Teaching Assistants to join our successful friendly team. One role is 19.5 hours per week, and the second role is 27.5 hours per week. We empower our staff and support them through our Christian foundations and values. Requirements

  • Has specialist knowledge of strategies to support children on the SEN register/EHCP
  • Has a flexible approach and ability to work as part of a team
  • Is willing to participate fully in all aspects of school life
  • Can work closely, communicating effectively, with an experienced and skilled SENDCo and class teachers and other staff
  • Has the ability to think on their feet and use their initiative
  • Is motivated, passionate and reflective about their work
  • Has a commitment to professional development and the skills to engage positively with practitioners, parents/carers and families
