Burfields House Wealth Management is looking for a proactive and highly organised Adviser Support Executive to work closely with one of the Directors of the business.

This is a busy, varied and fast-paced role, supporting a Director who has a full client workload and needs someone reliable, confident and capable to help keep things moving.

The role will involve managing and prioritising emails, drafting responses where appropriate, flagging anything that needs the Director’s input, helping to manage deadlines, and making sure client work is progressed efficiently and compliantly.

This would suit someone with financial services experience who enjoys being at the centre of a busy working environment, is happy to roll their sleeves up, and is not phased by changing priorities.

The role

  • Working closely with the Director and wider team, your responsibilities will include:
  • Supporting the Director with day-to-day workload management, including emails, client queries, reminders, deadlines and follow-up actions.
  • Drafting responses on behalf of the Director where appropriate, and highlighting matters that need their input.
  • Maintaining client files, checking information and inputting client financial data onto the system.
  • Collating client information ahead of meetings and ensuring the right information is available at the right time.
  • Helping to ensure client business is processed compliantly and in a timely way.
  • Chasing pipeline business from start to finish, keeping track of progress and managing timelines.
  • Liaising with third parties, paraplanners, colleagues and clients to help achieve good client outcomes.
  • Supporting with the preparation for client meetings, attending where required, and helping with follow-up actions.
  • Producing ad hoc reports, dealing with client queries and helping to keep work moving across the team.

The role would suit someone who enjoys being busy, takes ownership of their work, and is willing to get involved in whatever is needed to support the adviser, clientsand wider team.

Ideally you will have some experience working within Financial Servicesor a good understanding of the industry.

The jobholder will need their own transport and be willing to travel to different Burfields House offices, normally spending 3 days in Goudhurst, 1 day in Cranbrook and 1 day in Tenterden each week.
