We’re gearing up for an exciting new project launching in the next couple of weeks and are looking for skilled Python Engineers to join our team on a contract basis (Inside IR35). Given the quick turnaround we’re especially keen to hear from candidates who are immediately available or have a short notice period.
Qualifications & Requirements
- Essential Behaviours
- A passion for engineering and a desire to keep learning
- A focus on writing clear, concise code that is easy to maintain
- An ability to be pragmatic when required and avoid unnecessary “gold‑plating”
- An understanding that quality is everyone’s responsibility and a strong desire to test your own code
- Comfortable working with others in pairing or mobbing scenarios
- A good communicator who shares our values of openness and respect
- Experienced in Python, specifically the Django framework
- Experience with Next.js and TypeScript with Tailwind
- Experience designing and writing APIs, especially REST APIs
- Experience building and maintaining CI/CD via GitHub Actions pipelines
- Experience working with AWS
- Experienced in Terraform
- Experience with Wagtail CMS
- Experience with FastAPI
- Experience working in the public sector
- Experience working in a technology or consulting company
