Burendo is looking for a Senior Platform Engineer with AWS experience to help design, build, and support modern cloud platforms across a range of exciting projects. You’ll work closely with engineers and clients to enable secure, reliable, and scalable software delivery, owning platforms from build through to production.
What You’ll Do- Build and operate AWS-based platforms
- Automate infrastructure using Terraform or similar
- Create and maintain CI/CD pipelines
- Support and improve live production systems
- Collaborate via pairing and mobbing
- Mentor engineers and promote best practices
- Strong experience with AWS
- Infrastructure-as-code experience (Terraform or equivalent)
- CI/CD tooling experience (GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, Jenkins, Azure DevOps)
- Coding/scripting skills (Python, JavaScript, Node.js, C#, or Java)
- Solid Git and source control knowledge
- Agile delivery experience
- Experience supporting live products
- Database experience (SQL or NoSQL)
- Clear communication and a collaborative mindset
- NoSQL experience (e.g. MongoDB, DynamoDB)
- Consulting, public sector, Retail or Financial Services experience
- Community involvement (blogs, meetups, talks)
