At Burendo, we’re seeking a Senior Full Stack Engineer to join our team, supporting and enhancing a diverse range of applications and ecosystems. You’ll operate within an L2/L3 support function, ensuring the reliability of business‑critical systems while contributing to ongoing improvements and innovation. This role suits someone experienced in managed service environments who is comfortable owning BAU operations and participating in a rostered out‑of‑hours support rota. With exposure to multiple programming languages and a strong understanding of cloud‑based architectures, you’ll bring the versatility needed to work across a broad and evolving technology landscape.
Perform business‑as‑usual operations for a variety of applications:
- Bug fixes and feature enhancements
- Patching and package upgrades
- Secret rotations, certificate renewals and infrastructure upgrades
Contribute to the management and resolution of complex L2/L3 incidents.
Conduct root cause analysis and post‑incident investigations.
Maintain and update runbooks and operational documentation.
Participate in an on‑call rota, including out‑of‑hours incident response.
Mentor mid‑level and associate engineers within the team.
Must‑Haves
- Working knowledge of at least one of Java, Python, NodeJS, or C#
- Strong hands‑on cloud platform experience, Azure or AWS
- Experience with infrastructure‑as‑code technologies such as Terraform
- Solid understanding of ITIL practices
- Experience with on‑call and out‑of‑hours support responsibilities
Nice‑to‑Haves
- Working knowledge of highly available architectures
- Working knowledge of MSSQL, Postgres, or other relational DB systems
- Exposure to front end technologies such as React.js
