Location: Witham, Essex | Salary: Competitive + 10% shift allowance and fantastic benefits

Hours: 37.5 per week

Shift Pattern: 6am-1pm, 1pm-8pm (weekly rotations)

We are looking for a reliable and proactive Stores / Logistics Operator to support our laboratory operations. This role is key in ensuring samples, stock, and materials are efficiently managed and delivered across site to keep workflows running smoothly.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage and transfer deliveries (chemicals, consumables) into main stores
  • Move samples, glassware, and materials between laboratories
  • Handle waste management processes, including weighing, labelling, and storage
  • Process stock movements (IN/OUT) and maintain accurate stock records
  • Conduct regular stock checks
  • Assist with loading/unloading deliveries, including forklift use (training provided)
  • Support logistics activities, including use of the company van

  • Strong work ethic and ability to work independently
  • Good organisational and time management skills
  • Basic IT and numeracy skills
  • Full UK driving licence and access to own vehicle
  • Physically fit and flexible with working hours (including weekends when required)
  • Forklift licence desirable (training available)
