Job Opportunity: Natural Capital Principal Consultant

Location: Hybrid Working 2 days per week in the office (we have 25 offices across the UK)

Bureau Veritas is looking for a passionate and experienced Natural Capital Principal Consultant to join our team and help shape a better future for people and the planet.

The Role

As the Natural Capital Principal Consultant, you will play a pivotal role in advancing our natural capital services. You will combine strategic leadership with hands-on expertise to deliver transformative outcomes for our clients, while helping to position Bureau Veritas as a leader in the sustainability sector.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Role of Natural Capital subject matter expert for UK
2. Lead the definition of the current and future market, market drivers and service offerings for Nature Capital services
3. Develop and implement a robust, proactive Go-to-Market programs to achieve ambitious commercial growth.
4. Provide tender responses to client requests for work and input into large bids through the Bid Support Team, as required
5. Keep abreast of current Natural Capital trends, legislation, national and international standards and guidelines and technical developments
6. Establishing and maintaining strong relationships with clients
7. Providing support, mentorship, and leadership to team members
8. Delivery of projects to budget and to the required quality.

Qualifications and Skills:

1. Natural capital, ecology or related consultancy experience
2. Relevant first degree (e.g. ecology, environmental, engineering, sustainability etc) and higher degree desirable
3. Strong commercial acumen with proven business development skills
4. Well established professional network
5. Team management experience desirable
6. Highly developed project management skills
