The Role

We’re looking for a Payroll & Benefits Administrator to support the accurate and timely delivery of payroll and employee benefits across Bureau Veritas UK&I. You’ll work closely with HR, payroll and benefits providers to ensure data accuracy, resolve queries and deliver a high-quality employee experience.

Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare and validate payroll data, ensuring all employee changes are accurate and submitted on time
  • Support monthly payroll processing, reconciliations and year-end activities (e.g. P60s)
  • Act as a key contact for payroll queries, resolving issues efficiently
  • Administer employee benefits (pensions, PMI, life assurance, EV scheme, etc.)
  • Process benefit joiners, leavers and changes, and liaise with providers
  • Maintain accurate HR, payroll and benefits data across systems
  • Produce reports and carry out regular data checks
  • Support process improvements and HR/payroll projects

About You

  • Experience in payroll, HR or benefits administration
  • Good understanding of payroll processes and UK compliance requirements
  • Strong Excel and systems skills (HR/payroll systems)
  • High attention to detail and ability to manage deadlines
  • Strong organisational and communication skills
  • Comfortable handling sensitive and confidential data

Desirable:

  • Experience with outsourced payroll providers and benefits schemes
  • Knowledge of pensions, auto-enrolment and salary sacrifice
  • Familiarity with systems such as SuccessFactors or SD Worx
  • CIPD (or working towards)
