Bureau Veritas are excited to say that we have an opportunity for a Deputy Completion Manager to work onshore based at Lowestoft on a 2/2 rotation on a 12 month contract supporting the EA3 Offshore Windfarm Project.
About the Role
The Deputy Completion Manager will support the Fabrication Coordinator in overseeing all completion, commissioning, and handover activities for the East Anglia THREE (EA3) Offshore Wind Farm, ensuring all systems and packages are delivered safely, on time, and in compliance with UK regulations, project specifications, and industry standards. This role will play a key part in the successful system handover to operations, driving quality, safety, and schedule adherence across all project phases.
Responsibilities
- Support the EA3 Completion Manager in leading the mechanical completion and commissioning processes for all major assets, including: Foundations, Inter-array and export cables, Offshore substation (OSS), Wind turbine generators (WTGs).
- Manage the implementation and tracking of the Completion Management System (CMS) for EA3, ensuring accurate status reporting, documentation control, punch list management, and system readiness for handover.
- Monitor progress against EA3’s specific commissioning and completion milestones, proactively resolving issues to prevent delays.
- Lead system walkdowns, punch list closeouts, and readiness for operations reviews.
- Prepare and oversee the compilation and approval of EA3-specific completion and commissioning dossiers, handover certificates, and final documentation packages.
Qualifications
- Degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Marine, or similar discipline) or equivalent relevant experience.
- Minimum 5 years’ experience in offshore wind, oil & gas, or large infrastructure project completions/commissioning, preferably with UK offshore wind exposure.
