About the Role
As a Mechanical Engineer Surveyor you will ensure that lifting equipment – such as MEWPs, HIABs, Cranes, FLTs – meets the highest standards under LOLER & PUWER regulations. You will act as the trusted technical expert, delivering peace of mind to high‑profile clients across diverse sectors.
Responsibilities
- Review and audit mechanical equipment against regulatory standards
- Provide expert recommendations and corrective actions
- Build and maintain strong client relationships
- Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to achieve compliance goals
Qualifications & Skills
- Minimum NVQ4, HNC, HND or equivalent mechanical engineering qualification.
- Three to five years of post‑qualification experience with relevant equipment.
- Clean UK driving licence.
- Mechanical engineering focus preferred – LEEA qualifications are not sufficient on their own.
