Field based with daily travel to client sites; we aim to minimise travel where possible and offer localised geographical areas.

Package

  • Salary £46,260 – £49,344
  • Car allowance £5,000 pa (or company car option available)
  • One‑off retention payment up to £2,500 payable in December 2025 (pro‑rata for new starters)

Role Purpose

Carry out high‑quality inspections ensuring various pressure equipment is compliant with current regulatory and statutory requirements. Operate within agreed authorities, inspection and H&S standards with a clear customer focus and drive to achieve optimal service delivery. Produce and deliver inspection reports using Bureau Veritas’s best‑in‑class tools for on‑site reporting and immediate client access, acting as an advisor to high‑profile clients and delivering customer excellence in a professional, friendly, and authoritative manner.

Candidate Requirements

  • Minimum HNC, HND or equivalent mechanical engineering qualification
  • Minimum 3‑5 years relevant industry experience with pressure vessels, steam pressure equipment, piping, air receivers and heat exchangers, etc.
  • Current driving licence
  • Accreditation: UKAS, SAFed membership, SAFed Standard SS01 compliance
