Overview JOB TITLE: Commissioning Engineer (Mechanical or Electrical)

Responsibilities Provides engineering and technical support to plan, schedule, coordinate and execute full life cycle commissioning of critical facilities. Participates in the MEP design process; witnesses the static and dynamic testing of complex mechanical, electrical and controls systems and operates the system in normal, maintenance and failure modes of operations by performing the following duties
Candidate must possess experience and must have knowledge of installation, commissioning, testing, breakdown trouble shooting & maintenance of heavy mechanical systems / sub systems.
Minimum Qualifications Bachelor\βs degree in mechanical engineering or electrical engineering or equivalent practical experience
Mechanical roles β Experience in installation, commissioning, testing, troubleshooting & maintenance of Mechanical control systems, HVAC, cooling systems, Building management systems. Knowledge of large-scale data centres\β mechanical infrastructure systems
Electrical roles β Experience in installation, test run, testing, troubleshooting and maintenance of distribution systems, from high voltage (HV) transformers to branch circuits
Experience with mission critical facilities
Should have good experience in managing a team / Management skills (Senior positions)
8+ years of overall commissioning experience is desired (min. 4 yrs in datacentres must)
Experience with engineering software packages.
Knowledge of mechanical and control systems
Ability to travel, both domestically and internationally
Mechanical Candidate must possess hands on experience and knowledge of following mechanical systems:
HVAC
Cooling systems (all types)
Chiller systems, cooling towers and associated sub systems (both water cooled and air cooled)
Process water systems and treatment
Air Humidification
Control and instrumentation experience such as SCADA/ PLC/ BMS/ EPMS systems
Ability to interpret raw signal data and process it such as temperature and humidity data etc.
Control and instrumentation systems
Fuel transfer systems
Smoke extraction/ pressurization control
Network & communication system knowledge such as BACNET, Modbus, Ethernet etc.
Electrical Candidate must possess hands on experience and knowledge of following electrical systems:
Power System / Subsystem β HV / MV / LV
Transformers and generators
Switchgear (PDU, UPS wrap around, distribution gear with source change function)
UPS / STS module
General understanding of modern power conversion systems such as transistor-based conversion
Ability to interpret raw signal data and processing such as UPS/ generator waveforms
Control system / EPMS system / SCADA / PLC
Grounding and instrumentation
Knowledge of load bank calculation
Knowledge of networks and communication systems such as BACNET, Modbus, Ethernet

Work Schedule Monday β Friday, Days.
This position may entail working more than 8 hours a day and potentially working on Saturday or Sunday depending on project assignments.
