Commissioning Manager – Permanent Summary Responsible for taking a direct leadership role in accomplishing the mission of successful project delivery. Responsible for all aspects of commissioning management through all phases of Commissioning levels 0-6. Manages and plans the day-to-day Cx activities, manages the Client, project team, and business growth goals for the company by performing the following duties. Duties and Responsibilities include the following (other duties may be assigned): Acts as Competent Person managing project. Their primary goal is delivering each project to client satisfaction and technical standards set out. They must possess the ability to adapt and offer solutions to maintain the project milestones. Act as a Leader for the Project for al Cx Activities and develop a string working relationship with Client team, Design Team and GC Team. Responsible for managing client platforms and project folders on Teams/SharePoint ensuring project team has access to the project related information and any project related Cx platforms. Determines resource needs required to accomplish the Scope of Work (SOW). Identifies any variances that develop to SOW and advises Client in a timely manner of any potential change order as a result of these variances. Works with Program Management to manage all financial aspects of the project to include project opening, accounts payable, accounts receivable, revenue projections, and project closeout. Creates and manages the budgeting process which includes estimating, value engineering, and managing the client\’s budgetary expectations through the project cycle. Represents the company’s interest in delivery of services in accordance with the contractual requirements and company standards. Creates and manages an overall milestone schedule with support of Technical Team which includes all facets of the project and includes relevant owner, design, and construction team activities. Manages multiple members of the Cx Team which can include client representatives, vendors, contractors, end users, and in some cases the entire team in a design-build scenario. Plans and manages multiple concurrent activities to accomplish desired project results. Completes the project Opening process and manages/executes deliverables which include but is not limited to the following: 1. Produce Cx Plan & Schedule 2. Review and Comment on GC Schedules and Lookaheads 3. Provide a detailed Project Information sheet for deployed Cx Team members 4. Ensures all personnel on project have access to the required technical information 5. Produce Safety Plan and RAMS 6. Manages L2 Script reviews with Technical Team 7. Manages L3 Script reviews with Technical Team 8. Manages L4 Script production with Technical Team 9. Manages L5 Script production with Technical Team 10. Manages Loadbank Plan with Technical Team 11. Ensures all Testing and Cx activities are carried out efficiently and correctly 12. Ensures all T&C documents are accurate, complete, and uploaded 13. Participation and Lead (where required) project meetings 14. Feedback updates to the Technical Team as required ~ Manages all Reporting associated with the project which include but is not limited to the following: 1. Deliverable Progress Updates 2. Budget Consumption & Remaining Budget 3. Daily Cx Reports 4. Weekly Cx Reports 5. Monthly Cx Reports 6. Monthly Financial Reports – where applicable 7. Interim IST Report with Technical Team support 8. Final IST Report with Technical Team support 9. Final Cx Report with Technical Team support 10. Root Cause Analysis reports with Technical Team support – where applicable ~ Completes the Project Close-out process associated with the project with Technical Team support which include but is not limited to the following to: 1. Final Commissioning reports 2. Cx Letters – Completion, Acceptance etc. 3. As Left documentation and walks with OPS etc 4. As-built documentation reviews – where applicable 5. Operations/maintenance manuals – where applicable. 6. Provide internal/external lessons learned that should be applied to future projects, Maintains the clients interest during client communication and withholds any potentially sensitive proprietary information. Participates in new project opportunities as well as presents proposals and credentials to Clients or potential clients. Works to expand current contracted service offering for current clients. Develops positive working relationships with subcontractors and vendors. Manage the document control process as well as ensures proper and constant communication with project stakeholders (e.g. Client, construction, and design team). Leads, supervises, and mentors multiple project resources to include field technical staff for assigned projects. Manages a ‘new to’ client team transition & ‘new to’ CxE relationship for a project Manages diversity of CxE levels over the course of a project or follow-on projects to achieve the SOW Participates in and attends business development functions as needed to represent the company. Maintains positive outward projection of the company during formal and informal events.
