Protector Insurance is one of the fastest growing insurers in the UK! We are a Norwegian-based company that expanded into the UK market in 2015 and have grown rapidly over the past nine years.
With rapid growth comes great opportunity for the right people. We are now looking to recruit highly motivated graduates to join our team as Underwriter/Analysts at our Head Office in Manchester.
Responsibilities
- Work at the heart of the risk selection process, directly influencing the company’s profitability.
- Gain exposure to clients across both the private and public sector, including some of the largest organisations in the UK.
- Undertake a broad range of challenging and exciting tasks across Property, Casualty and Motor Fleet insurance.
- Analyse data, present key conclusions, and participate in a range of operational projects across the UK and overseas.
- Build strong relationships internally and externally to support business development and client retention.
- Engage in a structured training programme from day one, gaining underwriting experience and support towards professional insurance qualifications.
What We Are Looking For
- Recent Graduate calibre with a strong academic background.
- Strong analytical competence and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication skills and a desire to take on responsibility.
- High level of IT competence; experience with Microsoft Excel, SQL and/or Python would be advantageous.
