Based in the heart of Manchester, they have grown rapidly since their expansion into the UK market in 2015, and are now looking for individuals, like you, to help them continue their exciting journey.
What You’ll Do:
As a Graduate Counter Fraud Claims Handler, you’ll be on the front line of the claims process. You’ll have a direct influence on how claims are dealt with, not just individual claims, but also you will influence policies and procedures which underlie the entire claims process. This is a fantastic opportunity to make a real, measurable impact on the fight against insurance fraud in the industry.
In this role, you will work across all lines of business, i.e. motor, liability and property claims and indeed, any sort of claim that are presented to the business. This will give you unparalleled experience within the insurance industry. You will be analysing data and identifying key trends and collaborating with teams, both in the UK and internationally. You will also develop legal knowledge relating to claims so that you are able to confidently advise on liability, quantum and validation issues.
While analytical and investigatory skills are key, this role also offers the opportunity to build relationships with internal teams and external clients, helping to reduce claim spend and improve customer satisfaction.
Who We’re Looking For:
You will have strong academics and be educated to degree level or above. You will have a keen interest in the insurance industry with a willingness to learn. While prior experience isn’t necessary, you should be comfortable working with data and have a passion for learning and development. Fraudsters can be very forceful, and you will need the strength of your convictions and fortitude to stand up to them in a professional manner. If you think you have the smarts and these personality traits, we would love to hear from you.
Key skills and attributes we’re looking for:
- A strong academic record and analytical mindset
- Excellent verbal, written and presentation skills with the ability to communicate effectively at all levels.
- Ability to collaborate across teams
- A willingness to learn about fraud within the insurance industry
- Highly diligent, self-disciplined individual with excellent attention to detail
- Proactive approach and can prioritise effectively
What We Offer:
Tailored counter fraud training, designed to fast-track your professional development with the potential to obtain industry-recognised insurance qualifications. Practical claims handling from the start, with plenty of opportunities to develop your skills and technical knowledge. Exposure to the legal process, working closely with validation suppliers and legal professionals. A dynamic and supportive culture where communication is open, ideas are welcomed, and career growth is encouraged.
Our client values individuals who align with their culture of being Credible, Open, Bold, and Committed. If you’re eager to start your career in insurance, thrive in a fast-paced environment, and are motivated to make an impact, this is the perfect role for you.
