Burcombe Haulage are looking for an experienced HGV Mechanic to join their team in their busy workshop facility, operating from Saltash. With a fleet of over 70 vehicles from lorries and tippers to road sweepers and artics, experience and enthusiasm in this area is essential with a HGV licence preferred but not essential as licence training is offered after successful completion of the probation period.
Working well alone as well as part of the team and able to multi-task, the ideal candidate will be efficient and able to complete maintenance and repair jobs in good time to a high standard. A good communicator who uses initiative, with attention to detail, deadlines and safe working practice at all times.
You will be working full time on a minimum 40 hour week contract, Monday to Friday but there will be the requirement for overtime during the week and working Saturday morning on a rota basis. In return we offer a very competitive salary, 20 days holiday plus.
