Burch Recruitment is recruiting on behalf of our valued client, a well-established same-day delivery and installation company, for experienced and reliable White Goods Drivers with installation skills to join their expanding team. This is a full-time position, weekly pay with up to 6 working days per week opportunity (including weekends), depending on operational demands and the opportunity to be part of a friendly, professional two-person crew delivering excellent service to customers.

About the Role:

  • You will be delivering and installing white goods directly to customer homes from a depot based in Luton.
  • The role involves carrying goods into the home, unpacking, positioning, and performing full installations (e.g., connecting washing machines, dishwashers, ovens, or refrigerators).
  • You will work alongside a colleague as part of a two-person installation team.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience installing white goods in customer homes.
  • Strong customer service and communication skills.
  • Basic DIY or trade skills (e.g., using drills, screwdrivers, wrenches, and hand tools).
  • Physically fit and confident lifting heavy items safely.
  • Reliable and punctual, with a professional attitude.
  • Flexible availability for up to 6 days per week, as part of a 7-day operation.
  • Max 6 points (no DR or IN codes).
  • Home delivery experience is preferred but not essential.

What You Will Be Doing:

  • Early starts from our Luton depot.
  • Delivering and setting up items in customers' homes.
  • Working in a two-person team (alongside an Installer).
  • Carrying, unpacking, and installing white goods in customers' homes.
  • Ensuring safe and correct installation of all appliances.
  • Completing your route typically within a 9-hour shift.
