ATA Sameday is looking for an experienced Onsite Manager to lead daily operations at our Coalville depot. This is a full time, hands on onsite role with responsibility for both warehouse operations and driver performance in a fast paced, time critical environment.
You will take full ownership of day to day depot performance, ensuring collections are completed to plan, teams are fully resourced and all activity is carried out safely and compliantly. The role is Monday to Friday, with some weekend cover required during peak periods, and operational flexibility is essential.
Key Responsibilities- Manage daily warehouse operations including scanning, loading and space management
- Oversee drivers, route coverage and daily dispatch
- Lead onsite teams and deliver clear daily briefings
- Ensure Health and Safety compliance across warehouse and transport operations
- Monitor performance, attendance and operational standards
- Support recruitment and onboarding of drivers and warehouse staff
- Produce daily updates and operational reports
- Experience in a depot, warehouse or transport management role
- Previous experience in same day, last mile or courier operations preferred
- Strong people management and communication skills
- Confident managing both warehouse teams and drivers
- Organised, proactive and comfortable working in a fast paced operation
- Salary £30,000 to £35,000 plus holidays
