Burch Recruitment is recruiting on behalf of our valued client, a well-established same day delivery company for experienced and reliable Luton Drivers to join their growing team. This is a full-time position, weekly pay and the opportunity to be part of a friendly, professional two-person crew. You will drive a well-maintained vehicle and ensure timely, safe deliveries to customer homes.
About the Role:
You will be delivering furniture and white goods directly to customer homes from a depot based in the Croydon area, alongside a driver's mate. This includes room-of-choice delivery, unpacking, and basic installation where required.
Please note: Pay will be issued two weeks after the work has been completed. Payments will then continue weekly, maintaining a two-week delay between work completed and payment received.
Requirements:
- Max 6 points (no DR or IN codes)
- Good communication & customer service
- Home delivery experience preferred
- Basic DIY or trade skills (e.g. confident using drills, screwdrivers and hand tools)
- Driver is over 21 and has held a licence for at least 2 years (for insurance purposes)
What you will be doing:
- Early starts from our Croydon depot.
- Delivering and setting up items in customers' homes.
- Working in a two-person team (Driver + Mate); Completing routes typically within a 9-hour shift.
