Burch Recruitment is seeking a meticulous and proactive Audit&Compliance Officer to join their dedicated team. This is an excellent opportunity to play a key role in ensuring compliance with both internal and external regulations while supporting business efficiency and best practices. Your primary responsibility will be to work closely with management and staff to identify regulatory risks and ensure data is processed, understood, and distributed in line with GDPR requirements.
The daily duties of an Audit & Compliance Officer include verifying the correct collection and processing of data from various sources. You will need to double-check all outgoing data, address any irregularities, and highlight problematic departments or sites for management to address. Ensuring up-to-date and properly documented RTW and insurance compliance is also paramount. Key Responsibilities: Compiling data for audits. ?Monitoring compliance with regulations and internal policies. Educating employees/contractors on compliance regulations and their impact. Properly recording findings and following up with management to ensure issues are rectified. ?Reviewing processes and identifying opportunities for streamlining. Assisting in gathering information for regulatory requests. ?Performing administrative tasks such as file creation and maintaining project files. ?Collaborating with management to ensure compliance and investigate irregularities. ?Ensuring timely completion of weekly audits for selected clients. Reporting concerns of process breaches to line management. Conducting spot checks and mini-audits on staff.
Education & Experience: ?Excellent communication, administrative and organisation skills. 2+ years experience in compliance. ?Proficiency in Excel. ?Regularly reviewing processes and recommending streamlining opportunities. ?Great organisational skills and the ability to work independently. ISO27001 knowledge is a plus
