Job Purpose

Burberry is looking for an experienced Styling Editor to join the Marketing team. In this position you will manage styling across Brand content and campaign, ensuring key focuses/drivers are supported and all styling is on-point, on-brand and inspirational and working on set to execute brand content imagery with AD team.

Responsibilities

  • Work with the Director of Styling/Senior Styling Editor to manage brand content styling and team and Style brand content imagery
  • Research, product pull, build looks and style on set brand content projects, ensuring key focuses/drivers are supported and all styling is on-point, on-brand and inspirational
  • Manage shoot operations for styling from start to finish, working closely with Merchandising, Art Direction and Production, delivering work at the highest standard
  • Work with and support Creative Consultants/Freelance Stylist on brand projects and be on set for seasonal campaigns
  • Attend seasonal walk through with Merchants to understand key focuses/drivers to support through styling
  • Collaborate with key stakeholders from Creative Media, Brand Experience, Merch, Marketing, Design and Showroom to ensure focuses are understood, supported and communicated
  • Building and maintaining strong relationships with stylists, photographers, hair and makeup artists and set designers
  • Pro-actively suggesting improved ways of working and implementing processes within Styling and wider teams
  • Manage CHW Campaign process, end to end from prep, prestyling, looks sign off, shoot and communication
  • Manage assistants and intern and oversee their work per project

Personal Profile

  • Solid experience in fashion/luxury fashion and styling is essential, with a strong understanding of the industry and of the casting process/models being desirable.
  • Exceptional communication and organisational skills, with the ability to multi-task and meet tight deadlines
  • Strong eye for detail and the ability to work quickly and effectively in a fast-paced environment
  • Proactive mindset with a willingness to show initiative and contribute ideas to improve styling and workflow processes
  • Proven ability to manage or mentor a small team
  • Proficiency in Keynote and Excel. Capture one desirable.
  • Protect: Create beautiful imagery on all shoots with a keen eye for attention to detail
  • Explore: dedicated to research and exploration of new and creative styling/photography
  • Inspire: Lead assistants to progress creatively. Professionalism under pressure and flexible approach to the challenges. Excellent communication skills and team player. Positive attitude to resolving problems
