JOB PURPOSE
As a Site Merchandising Assistant at Burberry, you will support the digital merchandiser in ensuring an innovative and exciting consumer experience through a balance of art and commerce. You will implement and execute innovative merchandising strategies set by the Digital Merchandisers and Visual Merchandising team, and be responsible for site maintenance in line with the Brand vision and commercial objectives of the business. This role is offered on a full-time, permanent basis and will be based in our Horseferry House, London office for 3/4 days per week.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Reviewing weekly, monthly and quarterly reporting and analysis to understand customer needs across different markets, identifying opportunities for growth.
- Run and review bestsellers between on and offline, highlighting any shortages in stock, size availability and content missing.
- Drive sales through regular product merchandising and the optimisation of categories, filters and on-site search.
- Understand sales and engagement trends from trading team, covering all key digital metrics to reflect in terms of site merchandising.
- Key contact for asset tracking, ensuring that links are joined with products merchandised in relevant pages for emails, home and landing page in collaboration with the digital marketing team.
- Assist merchandiser with buy prep, noting commercial grading and styling callouts during brand presentations in market.
- Execute site merchandising, reviewing projects to be pushed through and signed off with merchandiser and visual merchandising.
- Responsible for uploading all correct product attribution and product facets.
- Implement 'complete the look' recommendations in time for monthly product launches.
- Delivering a luxury customer experience with accuracy and consistency through frequent site checks.
PERSONAL PROFILE
- Experience in a similar role in site merchandising.
- Previous experience with Web Analytics tools.
- Experience using various CMS and PIM tools; knowledge of Fredhopper a plus.
- Accuracy, great attention to detail.
- Analytical, good numerical skills.
- Good communication skills and teamwork.
