Burberry is looking for a skilled Media Planning and Buying Coordinator to join the Marketing team. Within this position you will ensure robust execution of media plans in key markets; UK, US, France and Italy.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Media Planning: Based in the centralised media team in London, the Media Coordinator (US & Europe) is the day-to-day lead for media plans across US, UK, France and Italy. Defines the localisation of the global media strategy for upper funnel activity, in partnership with our regional marketing teams. Creation of best-in-class inspiration media plans across hero campaign moments and always-on commercial moments throughout the year, supporting both product launches and key categories. Delivers market-leading performance against set inspiration objectives and KPIs. Ensure an integrated media strategy across our direct buys (offline and online) and Performance Media in each region.
- External Communications: Day-to-day lead for regional agency management across US, UK, France and Italy in close collaboration with the global media agency based in London. Manage and grow relationships with key external publishers and partners.
- Internal Cross Channel Collaboration: Liaise with the internal creative media team on a daily basis to ensure smooth end-to-end delivery of assets across all media bookings, inclusive of management of timelines and delivery dates. Collaborate with the performance media team to align on full funnel strategy in-market and channel priorities, in particular with local platforms.
- Regional Budget Management: Monitor all budgets across US, UK, France and Italy, to ensure media plans are correctly budgeted for. Oversee all media contract negotiations in respective markets. Ensure a smooth and robust financial process in collaboration with both global and local finance teams.
PERSONAL PROFILE
Minimum 3-4 years media planning & buying experience at brand or media agency (or equivalent). Experience working in luxury category preferred. Experience in relevant markets preferred.
