Reporting to the VP, Visual Merchandising Manager, the Central Visual Merchandising Manager will provide clear and concise visual merchandising direction to the regions through their knowledge of styling, global VM guidelines, assortment and visual merchandising practices. This role partners closely with Central Merchandising, Styling, Architecture, Retail Excellence and the Regional VM Teams, ensuring creative and commercial goals are delivered and executed. This role is a fixed‐term contract position.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Deliver visual merchandising guidance for regional VM's and global Retail Teams
- Collaborate closely with Merchandising to ensure VM guidance is aligned to the strategic aims of the business, whilst delivering an inspiring visual display
- Align with Design's creative vision and global styling direction to make sure displays are both creatively driven and commercially mindful
- Work collaboratively with Architecture and Activations teams to support fixture, prop and activation developments
- Support the regional VM teams with regular feedback, training and store visits – sharing knowledge and building a collaborative working culture
- Drive compliance with global standards and excellent product knowledge across the regions
- Work effectively alongside other Central Visual Merchandisers to provide high standard and consistent level of work
- Demonstrate understanding of full strategic vision – demonstrate agility and flexibility to achieve required solutions
- Support on visualization of renders for windows and pop‐up team
- Deliver showroom – London, Paris
- Manage Outlet VM Manager and execution
PERSONAL PROFILE
- 8+ years experience working within a Visual Merchandising role, experience in guidelines and supporting guideline development
- Proven experience working independently and creatively/innovatively in a fast‐paced environment
- Analytical and detail‐oriented, with clear understanding of Merchandising and Business requirements
- Experience working in a brand with large assortments – knowledge of Merchandising beneficial
- Microsoft Office required, Adobe beneficial
- Proactive problem‐solving attitude
- Working within a highly effective team to provide consistent industry‐leading work
- Strong awareness of luxury industry trends and a passion for the fashion industry
- Excellent communication skills, highly organised and able to prioritise multiple tasks in a reactive cross‐functional environment
