JOB PURPOSE

This position will be accountable for managing all Replenishment defined activities at a Global level. They will lead by example, acting as an ambassador for Burberry, fostering a culture of simplification, innovation and collaboration and driving excellence across the planning organisation.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Providing Replenishment consolidation for overall Group Inventory management
  • Ensuring Central and Regional adherence to all Replenishment Targets.
  • Responsible for Replenishment sales forecasting and procurement including Single Pool
  • Accountable for improving Replenishment Inventory productivity
  • Replenishment Inventory Management:
    • Create Replenishment forecasts alongside Regional ranging inputs, providing WoC guidance in adherence with overarching Company strategy
    • Timely communication of sales and procurement forecasts in Market and through the season
    • Leverage Linecards to improve productivity/ deliveries/ in-stock rates in partnership with Inventory and Product Planning teams
    • Manage Replenishment Single Pool of Inventory
    • Through S&OP governance drive product lifecycle inventory management and process efficiencies
    • Partner with Supply Chain teams to optimise production capacity and vendor management by providing medium to long range unit forecasts
    • Optimise raw material management and procurement processes
    • Accountable for continuous Replenishment Margin improvement alongside Product and Supply Chain partners
    • Partner with Central Merchandising Product teams to determine future Replenishment assortment and seasonal additions based on performance against retail metric criteria
  • Leadership:
    • Coach and develop team to drive planning excellence
    • Foster a culture of collaboration and one team spirit
    • Actively engage in coaching and mentoring activities, driving personal and professional development and fostering a high-performance culture
    • Create opportunities for talent development across the planning organisation

  • Extensive experience demonstrating excellence across all aspects of Planning, at a manager level
  • Effective communication skills, with proven experience in influencing with credibility up to C-suite
  • Strong leadership skills: inspiring, energising and instilling a culture of innovation, collaboration, and accountability
  • Creative, innovative and customer-oriented when faced with business challenges
  • Dynamic and collaborative style, able to build positive working relationships with cross-functional teams and translate strategic direction to all levels of the organisation
  • Exceptional attention to detail and analytical skills
  • Experience working within a similar Retail environment
