JOB PURPOSE
We are looking for a Replenishment Planning Manager to lead all replenishment planning activities across our Accessories division within Burberry's global planning organisation. This role will act as a key ambassador for our planning function driving simplification, innovation and collaboration across teams globally. You will manage global replenishment performance, optimise inventory flows, and partner closely with Retail Merchandising, Regional teams and Supply Planning to maintain strong stock health and commercial outcomes. You will also support the Senior Manager and deputise in key meetings when required.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Lead the review of global replenishment sales and procurement forecasts, ensuring performance aligns with commercial plans.
- Own and manage Global Replenishment OTB, ensuring alignment to Weeks of Cover targets across stores and hubs.
- Oversee SPI allocations to maintain target stock levels globally.
- Partner with the Director of Retail Merchandising and Regional teams to assess trading performance and recommend in‐season adjustments.
- Deliver commercial analysis to identify missed opportunities and provide hindsight for future collection planning, particularly around regional assortments.
- Maintain and optimise replenishment stock levers and propose adjustments to future buys in collaboration with the Inventory team.
- Work with Regions to maintain optimal store and hub inventory levels.
- Act as a Subject Matter Expert for the Accessories division across all regions.
- Lead long-term strategy development, including quarterly and annual vendor projection reviews to support Supply Planning (up to 3-year horizon).
- Drive margin improvement across the replenishment assortment.
- Accountable for assortment strategy, including new additions and delists, ensuring productivity KPIs are met.
- Champion Burberry values: Creatively Driven, Open and Caring, Forward Thinking, Proud of our Heritage.
- Lead, coach and develop a team of Planning professionals.
- Create opportunities for capability development across the global planning community.
- Provide mentorship and drive personal and professional growth across the team.
- Regularly deputise for the Senior Manager in key meetings and forums.
PERSONAL PROFILE
- Proven leadership experience within continuity or replenishment planning in a fast-paced luxury or commercial retail environment.
- Strong expertise across all areas of replenishment planning, including OTB, line card management and margin optimisation.
- Customer-oriented mindset with the ability to navigate complex business challenges.
- Skilled in strategic decision making and commercial product planning.
- Excellent communication and influencing skills, with credibility at senior leadership levels (Chief, SVP).
- Collaborative, dynamic working style with strong cross-functional relationship-building skills.
- Exceptional attention to detail and advanced analytical skills.
- SAP experience is advantageous.
