The Global Benefits Manager is responsible for supporting the development, implementation and ongoing management of Burberry's global benefits programmes. The role will help ensure our benefits offering remains competitive, compliant and aligned with the needs of our employees and business objectives. The role will oversee a broad range of benefits activities, including insurance renewals, vendor management, benefits governance, programme implementation, employee communications and benefits technology. Working closely with HR, Finance, Payroll, Legal, Procurement and external partners, the role will support the consistent and effective delivery of benefits across Burberry's global locations while ensuring a positive employee experience and supporting Burberry's employee value proposition. Reporting to the Senior Manager, Global Benefits, the role will contribute to the evolution of Burberry's benefits strategy, identify opportunities to improve processes and programmes, and help ensure our benefits offering continues to support employee wellbeing, engagement and retention.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Coordinate annual insurance and benefit renewals across Burberry's countries and regions
  • Manage relationships with brokers, insurers and benefit providers to ensure a high-quality service is delivered
  • Partner closely with HR Business Partners, Payroll, Legal, Finance and Procurement to support the effective management and delivery of global benefits
  • Support the development and delivery of Burberry's global benefits strategy and policies
  • Identify opportunities to improve benefits processes and documentation globally, creating a more consistent experience and making administration more efficient
  • Develop and deliver engaging benefits communications to increase employee understanding, participation and appreciation of benefit offerings
  • Ensure benefits programmes comply with local requirements by keeping up to date with changes in legislation and making updates where needed
  • Maintain records of benefit frameworks, vendor contracts, renewal dates and programme documentation
  • Review benefit usage, colleague feedback and costs to identify opportunities for improvement
  • Support broader HR priorities, including wellbeing, diversity, equity and inclusion, employee engagement and recognition programmes
  • Act as a point of contact for escalated benefits-related queries and provide guidance to colleagues and the operational team
  • Lead benefits-related technology and transformation initiatives, including the implementation of benefit platforms and digital tools

PERSONAL PROFILE

  • Proven experience supporting management of employee benefits programmes, ideally within a multinational or complex organisation
  • Strong knowledge of UK benefits, pensions, tax and regulatory requirements, including payrolling of benefits and salary sacrifice
  • Experience managing benefit renewals and working with brokers, insurers and benefit providers
  • Experience implementing and improving benefits technology, processes and communications
  • Strong organisational skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities
  • Excellent stakeholder management skills and the ability to build effective relationships
  • Strong analytical skills, translating data and insights into meaningful recommendations and actions
  • High attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy, compliance and governance
  • Proactive and adaptable, with the ability to work independently in a changing environment
