JOB PURPOSE
At Burberry, creativity opens spaces. As an Art Director, you will play a key role in shaping and delivering compelling creative across a wide portfolio of global marketing campaigns. Sitting within the Art Direction team, you will bring ideas to life across stills, video and digital, ensuring every brief delivers both creative excellence and commercial impact. This role offers the opportunity to work at the intersection of fashion, storytelling and innovation, collaborating with world‑class talent to create work that is distinctly Burberry.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Lead or support the development of creative strategy across a variety of campaigns
- Manage the end‑to‑end creative process for assigned briefs, from research and ideation through to shoot and post‑production
- Deliver high‑quality concept presentations that clearly articulate creative direction
- Work closely with Production to identify and engage the right collaborators such as photographers and stylists
- Direct and support on‑set execution, ensuring all content aligns with the approved creative vision
- Oversee post‑production and image cropping to maintain consistency and quality
- Develop and implement style guides across fashion, model and still life categories
- Manage multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring timelines and priorities are met
- Build and maintain strong relationships with external creative talent
- Stay connected to global trends and cultural movements to drive fresh, innovative ideas
PERSONAL PROFILE
- Proven experience in Art Direction within luxury fashion, creative production or design environments
- A strong portfolio demonstrating concept development and execution across stills and moving image
- Excellent visual, verbal and written communication skills
- A refined creative point of view with the ability to balance brand storytelling and commercial objectives
- Strong eye for design, layout and typography
- Experience working on set and directing creative outputs
- Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, including InDesign, Illustrator and Photoshop
- Ability to manage multiple workflows and deadlines in a fast‑paced environment
- A collaborative mindset and the confidence to influence across teams
- A self‑motivated and detail‑driven creative thinker
