JOB PURPOSE

We are hiring a Commercial Operations Administrator to play a key role in supporting Burberry's Commercial Procurement team and the processes that enable strong supplier partnerships across our global business.

This role sits at the heart of procurement operations, collaborating with colleagues across procurement, legal, finance and regional teams to deliver a seamless supplier and stakeholder experience.

Combining operational excellence with continuous improvement, you will help ensure our procurement processes remain efficient, compliant and aligned to the high standards expected at Burberry.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Support the onboarding of new global suppliers, ensuring due diligence and governance processes are completed efficiently and accurately.
  • Act as a trusted point of contact for procurement-related queries, delivering a responsive and high-quality service to internal stakeholders.
  • Maintain and administer procurement contracts, including signature management, renewals, archiving and system updates within procurement platforms.
  • Support category planning activities by coordinating procurement projects, supplier initiatives and annual planning processes.
  • Assist with sourcing activities and provide analysis and insights to support procurement recommendations and business decision-making.
  • Produce spend analysis, reporting and compliance tracking to support performance monitoring and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • PERSONAL PROFILE
  • Experience in procurement, buying, customer service or a related operational environment.
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to build positive relationships across a wide range of stakeholders.
  • Highly organised with excellent attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.
  • A proactive problem-solver who looks for opportunities to improve processes and ways of working.
  • Confident using Microsoft Office applications, including Excel, Word and Power Point; experience with SAP Ariba, Adobe Sign or Docu Sign is beneficial.
  • Collaborative, adaptable and committed to delivering a high standard of service in a fast-paced environment.
