Burberry is looking for a Trim Coordinator, RMP to join the Trims Development team. In this position you will manage RTW sampling procurement, ensuring quality standards through strong supplier relationships.
Responsibilities include:
- Tracking the movement of raw materials to and from the warehouse, ensuring timely delivery and accurate documentation; liaising with suppliers to confirm material availability, lead times, and shipping updates.
- Monitoring seasonal deliveries to ensure timely arrival in line with development calendars; ensuring the effective execution of sampling RM activities in line with the critical path.
- Creating and maintaining trim raw material codes in FlexPLM, ensuring complete and up-to-date information; maintaining accurate records of sampling material details, including composition, certifications, and sustainability attributes.
- Supporting the upkeep of the RM library and digital database with current and seasonal references; assisting in tracking and updating sustainable attributes in the system and maintaining and tracking shipment invoice declarations for accurate documentation and compliance with import/export regulations.
- Onboarding new raw material suppliers and supporting their data setup; acting as the day-to-day contact for supplier sample material queries and updates.
- Maintaining and updating the supplier matrix, supporting the Raw Materials Development team, communicating RM status with internal teams, participating in reviews, and building collaborative supplier partnerships with two-way communication and risk mitigation.
- Coordinating the return and allocation of seasonal sampling raw materials and managing leftover declarations; helping identify unused or excess sampling trims for possible repurposing or redistribution.
- Monitoring sampling stock levels, ensuring visibility of available trims for upcoming development needs.
- Maintaining and organising all internal records and sample documentation; supporting internal reporting by providing accurate data on deliveries, sample tracking, and supplier sustainability compliance.
- Contributing to process improvement initiatives by flagging inefficiencies in systems or workflows; managing the inbound/outbound of sampling materials from the third-party warehouse and issuing POs and invoices.
Ideal candidate:
- Has a fashion background; skilled in Microsoft Office, FLEX PLM, SAP, and delivery tracking.
- Strong influencing and negotiation skills; able to negotiate capacity, minimums, and pricing, and track and report RM production and supplier performance.
