We are hiring a Finance Systems Senior Manager to lead the team responsible for the systems, data structures and reporting capabilities at the heart of Burberry's Group Finance operation.
You will oversee the development and operational support of consolidation, forecasting, close and access-management platforms, while helping shape the future finance systems landscape.
Working across Finance, IT and the wider business, you will protect data integrity, strengthen controls and enable accurate, effective decision-making.

- Lead and develop the Finance Systems team, setting clear priorities and creating an environment in which colleagues can perform at their best.
- Own the effective operation of consolidation, actuals, forecasting and budgeting systems, enabling reliable financial reporting cycles.
- Guide finance systems projects, regulatory developments, upgrades, testing and new platform implementations in partnership with Finance and IT.
- Maintain strong financial data, access and control frameworks across SAP, BPC, Ariba, Cadency and relevant banking platforms.
- Oversee period-end scheduling, reporting tools and dashboards, ensuring that outputs remain aligned with organisational and management-reporting needs.
- Improve ways of working across the finance systems landscape, resolving data-feed issues and helping users adopt consistent, controlled practices.
- Partner closely with Commercial Procurement, IT and Digital Commerce Finance teams and the PMO.
- Manage direct / indirect reports to optimise their performance and oversee their development, both as individuals and as a team.
- A professionally qualified accountant, such as CIMA, ACA, ACCA or an equivalent international qualification.
- Practical experience working with SAP and BPC environments, including consolidation, reporting, period-end close and access management.
- Experience supporting finance systems within an international listed organisation or a similarly complex, regulated environment.
- An effective communicator who can explain technical subjects clearly, build trusted relationships and offer constructive challenge.
- A collaborative leader with the ability to balance operational delivery, control requirements and longer-term improvement priorities.
- Familiarity with Tableau, Ariba or Cadency would be beneficial, although experience across every platform is not required.
