We are looking for a skilled RM Operations Manager to play a pivotal role in ensuring raw material readiness across fabrics and trims at Burberry. Sitting at the heart of our product lifecycle, this role brings operational clarity and foresight to material bookings, testing, stock and delivery milestones. Through strong cross‑functional partnership, you will help anticipate risk early and enable confident, on‑time product execution across multiple categories. This is a highly visible role where operational rigour directly supports Burberry's commitment to quality, craft and performance.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain clear visibility across fabric and trim readiness, tracking bookings, stock, testing status and delivery milestones.
- Support production call‑off and floorset readiness by aligning material availability with agreed timelines.
- Partner closely with Raw Material Procurement, Sourcing, Industrialisation and Product Operations to ensure alignment across key milestones.
- Support governance activities including leather testing, cut‑to‑clear processes, pre‑buy readiness and material commitments.
- Proactively identify and escalate material risks, shortages or delays with clear insight and recommendations.
- Contribute to improving operational processes, reporting and governance to strengthen execution across the product lifecycle.
- Provide operational guidance and support to junior operational resources within the team.
- Contribute to building a strong operational culture focused on visibility, accountability, and execution excellence.
Qualifications & Experience
- Experience working in raw materials, product operations, sourcing or supply chain within a product‑led environment.
- A strong understanding of fabric and trim development, procurement flows, testing and production readiness.
- Highly organised, with the ability to manage multiple workstreams with accuracy and calm focus.
- Analytical and confident working with operational data to inform decisions and highlight risk.
- Clear, collaborative communicator who builds trust across cross‑functional teams.
- Curious, proactive and motivated to improve operational effectiveness and outcomes.
