Burberry is looking for a skilled Raw Materials Manager to join Burberry's Supply Chain team in London, playing a key role in shaping how our collections come to life. This role leads the sourcing, negotiation and optimisation of raw materials for Childrenswear and Outlet, with a focus on Asian mills. Working across design, product development and sourcing, you will ensure materials are selected, managed and delivered with precision, supporting both craft excellence and commercial performance. Your work will directly influence quality, sustainability and profitability across the product lifecycle.

  • Lead procurement strategy for raw materials, aligning cross‑functional stakeholders to deliver consistent and efficient outcomes.
  • Manage end‑to‑end supplier relationships, including selection, onboarding, performance tracking and continuous improvement.
  • Negotiate pricing, capacity and lead times to support business needs while maintaining strong supplier partnerships.
  • Monitor market trends and manage risk, including commodity fluctuations and excess material optimisation.
  • Drive accurate planning and reporting, ensuring data integrity across systems and clear visibility of supplier performance.
  • Support and develop team capability, fostering collaboration and continuous growth within the function.

Strong experience in raw materials management within a luxury or fashion environment. Solid understanding of textile production processes and supplier landscapes. Confident negotiator with the ability to influence stakeholders across multiple functions. Highly organised, with the ability to manage priorities and deliver to critical timelines. Analytical mindset with a focus on data accuracy and informed decision-making. Collaborative and resilient, with a proactive approach to problem‑solving and continuous improvement. Comfortable working with systems and tools to manage data, track materials and support decision‑making (e.g. PLM or similar platforms).
