PURPOSE:

We are looking for an Assistant Video Editor to support our post-production team in creating high-quality video content. The successful candidate will assist editors and colour graders with project preparation, footage organisation, and basic editing tasks across brand and beauty content, including Campaign, Runway Show, Social, and Internal Communication videos. The Assistant Video Editor will support projects throughout the post-production process, including preparing content for various digital platforms, quality-checking work, and creating string-outs and rough assemblies when needed. They will also assist colour graders and ensure a smooth and efficient workflow, as well as support the management and delivery of final assets.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Ingest and organise footage
  • Assist editors with rough cuts, string-outs, and timeline preparation when needed
  • Prepare assets for VFX
  • Applying colour transforms to selects sequences
  • Conform the edit once all post work is done
  • Quality control the assets and management of final assets
  • Manage and organise project archives and media assets

EXPERIENCE:

  • Experience and proficiency with DaVinci Resolve and Adobe Suite
  • Understanding of post-production workflows, including versioning for different platforms and quality control processes
  • Strong organisational abilities and attention to detail
  • Experience in organising and managing media
