Salary: £12.75 - £13.75 per hour, depending on experience

Contract: Permanent - 30hrs per week to include alternate weekends.

About Manor Court Care Home: A purpose-built residential care home, Manor Court offers a range of tailored care options for short or long term needs. Care is provided to people living with dementia, Parkinson’s and Huntington's disease and also to the young physically disabled. Palliative care is also available. The home consists of four separate houses each offering comfortable accommodation with a relaxed and friendly atmosphere. Landscaped gardens complete with furnished patio areas, raised flower beds and two sensory gardens provide an ideal setting to relax or socialise. The home also offers a double room, ideal for couples. Manor Court recognises the importance of healthy and nutritious food. The in-house chef has created a range of seasonal menus to ensure residents receive a balanced diet. A hot and cold option is always made available so that all tastes are catered for. Residents are encouraged to take part in daily activities such as film nights, exercise sessions and coffee mornings to socialise and get to know staff and other residents.

You’ll help us make health happen by:

  • You’ll be responsible for maintaining high standards of cleanliness within the home, working closely with our other housekeeping and maintenance staff.
  • Always ensuring our residents are kept happy, you will vacuum, mop floors, polish and generally ensure the up-keep of all communal areas and our resident’s bedrooms.
  • You’ll maintain housekeeping stocks for day to day use and raise any issues to the Housekeeping Supervisor as you go.

Key Skills / Qualifications needed for this role: You take pride in ensuring your work is always completed to a high standard and can maintain an organised environment. Often managing multiple requests at once, you’ll be comfortable multitasking and where necessary, working with other teams to ensure our residents are kept happy in their home.
