We’re looking for aSenior Product Designerto help shape the future of digital health at Bupa.
You’ll work within a cross-functional squad and a small team of designers, driving bothhow the product worksandhow we discover what to build.
With a portfolio that demonstrates strategic thinking, interaction design depth, and measurable impact, you’ll be a strategic partner to product and engineering stakeholders, guiding product discovery, defining experience strategy, and ensuring design excellence—with the support of yourDesign Principal.
How you’ll help us make health happen
- Support Discovery & Strategy:Frame problems, test ideas, and guide your squad toward effective, validated solutions.
- Design Holistic Experiences:Own the end-to-end user journey, ensuring the product delivers real value and feels intuitive to use.
- Conduct & Guide Research:plan and conduct evaluative user research and ensure insights are embedded into design decisions.
- Run Workshops & Design Sprints:Facilitate collaborative sessions to align stakeholders and accelerate discovery.
- Balance Business and User Needs:Create solutions that are desirable, feasible, and commercially viable working closely with stakeholders to understand constraints.
- Elevate Design Quality:Contribute to setting the standard for design craft and thinking across your squad and the wider design community.
- Promote Design Systems:Contribute to and advocate for Bupa’s design system (Anatomy) to ensure consistency and scalability.
- Ensure Accessibility:Design experiences that meetWCAG 2.2 AAstandards and are inclusive of all users.

- Significant experience of managing products in a large, regulated organisation.
- Able to inspire and deliver innovative solutions through cross-functional teams
- Multidisciplinary:You bring depth in product design and breadth across at least three of the following: service design, user research, content design, design systems, and design strategy.
- Discovery-Led:You believe in testing ideas early and often, and you know how to guide teams through ambiguity.
- Interaction-Driven:You design how the product works—not just how it looks—and understand the nuances of user behaviour.
- Inclusive by Design:You champion accessibility and inclusive design practices from the start.
- Proficiency in Figma and experience with design systems.
- Experience conducting user research and usability testing.
- Familiarity with WCAG 2.2 AA accessibility standards.
- Strongly preferred: experience with AI tools such as Figma Make and Lovable.
