How you’ll help us make health happen
- Lead the development of architectures for complex solutions ensuring consistency with agreed requirements
- Establish policies, principles and practices for the selection of solution architecture components
- Manage trade-offs and balance functional, service quality and systems management requirements
- Communicate proposed decisions to stakeholders using technical and non technical language
- Provide organisational leadership and guidelines to promote the development of specialist knowledge in the organisation
- Develop and drive adoption of and adherence to organisational policies, standards, guidelines and methods for system design
- Champion the importance and value of system design principles and the selection of appropriate systems design life cycle models
- Lead system design activities for strategic, large and complex systems development programmes
- Develop effective implementation strategies consistent with specified requirements, architectures and constraints of performance and feasibility
- Develop system design requiring the introduction of new technologies or new uses for existing technologies
What you’ll bring
- Extensive experience in solution architecture, systems design or complex technology delivery in a healthcare environment
- Proven leadership of large or complex solution architectures, often spanning multiple projects or programmes
- Defining and governing end to end solution architectures for strategically significant initiatives
- Providing authoritative solution architecture guidance to delivery teams and senior stakeholders
- Experience leading feasibility assessments, architectural option analysis and business case input, influencing design and investment decisions
- Demonstrable equivalent professional experience gained through senior solution architecture roles
