About the Role
As our People Policy Consultant, you’ll be at the heart of our People team, leading the creation and evolution of policies, standards, and guidance that support our strategic goals and regulatory responsibilities. You’ll work closely with senior stakeholders, HR teams across the UK and globally, and subject matter experts to ensure our policies are clear, compliant, and user-friendly.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Leading policy development projects from concept to implementation
- Ensuring alignment with employment legislation, regulation, and Bupa’s values
- Collaborating with HR leaders and cross-functional teams to embed policies across the business
- Providing expert advice and insight to support strategic decision-making
- Monitoring policy effectiveness and driving continuous improvement
- Supporting due diligence and risk management processes
About You
We’re looking for someone with a strong HR background who thrives in a fast-paced, collaborative environment. You’ll bring:
- Proven generalist HR experience, with a focus on policy development
- Up-to-date knowledge of UK employment legislation
- Experience influencing and advising senior stakeholders
- Strong project management and organisational skills
- A passion for clarity, quality, and user experience in policy design
- CIPD qualification or equivalent experience
